The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) and the Center hospitalier universitaire de Libreville (CHUL) will soon be bound by an agreement for the medical coverage of CNSS social insured persons, victims of work accidents or occupational diseases, informs the health structure .
Through this partnership, it is a question of facilitating the coverage of CNSS policyholders by the CHUL. Coverage which will be provided, as soon as the said agreement is signed, on the basis of a certificate previously issued by the competent services of the CNSS, aligned with the national pricing of health services and benefits, drafted by the National Fund of health insurance and social guarantee (CNAMGS).
As explained by the CHUL, this approach “is justified by the vacuum left by the return to the state purse of hospitals formerly belonging to the CNSS and also by the fact that the CHUL had laboratory services, radiology, technical platforms and nursing staff up to the requested mission ”.
In order to refine the terms of the desired agreement, the heads of the two structures had a working session on December 8 in Libreville.
